R J Gould
R J works for an educational charity near Cambridge. He has published in a wide range of educational journals, national newspapers and magazines and is the co-author of a major work on educating able young people. Currently he is writing contemporary fiction that offers a light-hearted look at family relationships across age, gender and class with a strong element of humour. His first novel is The Engagement Party, a story covering the week leading up to and including a lunch party to celebrate the engagement of Wayne and Clarissa. A second novel, The Reunion, will shortly be completed. He is near to finishing an anthology of short stories, each featuring a woman who by chance happens to be called Natalie. R J was the Cambridge Writers annual short story competition winner in February 2010 and received a commendation for his fiction in February 2012. Both stories feature in his anthology.
